The Unexpected Break up

I am a fresh male graduate. I’ve two girl friends ,,one in my former school and the other one in my home town. The one at home is my first girl friend and the one in my alma mater  is my second girl friend. To be frank I love the two of them , so I ve been dating the first one for about  3 years now and the second girl just about  1 year. 

Last week i had a misunderstanding with the both of them for no just reason, I didn't call dem and they didn't call me too. Yesterday being the 5th of August 2014 they both called me to tell me that they are no more interested in my so called relationship with them, the first girl called me around 2:30 pm and my second girl called around 2:35 pm same day (yesterday)

Since I received the two break up calls, I have been so confused ,  I am wondering what went wrong. How can I lose my two girl friends the same day and at about the same time? 

What should I do, please advise me
