A defender could be someone who protects his or her children, a protector of a city, a territory, or a region, or a man who protects his family against intruders or evil attackers.
Originally from inception, God protects those who trust in him, those who wholly from their heart call him Abbah Father, and those who worship and believe in him in spirit and truth. But when you deviate from doing the right thing as commanded by God in his commandment, his protection will be limited in your life.
Now How Can You Make God Your Spiritual and Physical Defender?
1) When you are troubled and challenged by the evil kingdom and occultic powers, you remind God of his promise in the book of 2 Kings Chapter 19;34, the bible says; I will defend this city and protect it for the sake of my honor and because of the promise I made to my servant David.
Praise the Lord!!!
One of the greatest ways to provoke God and put him into action is by reminding him of his promises, his words, and his covenant with the great people of olden days. He doesn't joke with it. So by reminding him of these things, God will stand up and defend you and your family against any evil attack.
2) When Paul and Silas went to prison for healing a woman who was possessed by an evil spirit which made her owner report Paul and Silas to the public authorities of Roman Officials when they realized that their chance of making money with her was gone. These men received public disgrace and humiliation and were later put in prison, all because they did what was right in the name of Jesus Christ.
At midnight, the songs of praise and worship of Paul and Silas provoked God in his heavenly abode that the foundation of the prison yard was shaking because of their praises. Acts 16:25-31: the word of God says from verse 25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a violent earthquake, which shook the prison to its foundations. At once all the doors opened, and the chains fell off all the prisoners. 27 The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he thought that the prisoners had escaped; so he pulled out his sword and was about to kill himself. 28 But Paul shouted at the top of his voice, “Don't harm yourself. We are all here!” 29 The jailer called for a light, rushed in, and fell trembling at the feet of Paul and Silas. 30 Then he led them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved you and your family.”
You make God your defender when you call upon him with uncommon praise and worship, when you pray with sincere heart, remind him of great things he did for his loving people Israel many years ago in the wilderness, also how he healed many diseases and sicknesses, even the woman with issue of blood for 12 years.
You may be wondering why God is not answering your prayers. You have to sincerely confess your sins to him, and make up your mind never to go back to your sins again by asking the Holy Spirit of God to be your leader, moderator, and coordinator. Until God takes over you, the Holy Spirit of God can not dwell in you.
Instead of complaining, provoke God with these methods mentioned above and he will automatically become your spiritual defender. Praise the Lord!!!. Hallelujah.
