The ladies in the Bible have the best answer to the marital proposals of SAME DAY!!
For example.
Genesis 24:58 (KJV) And they called Rebekah, and said unto her, Wilt thou go with this man? And she said I will go.
Rebekah gave an answer to the proposal right there and then.
NO GOING BACK!!
No 'let me take a month to think about it.
Another example.
Ruth 3:14, 18 (KJV) And she lay at his feet until the morning: and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it not be known that a woman came into the floor.
Then said she, Sit still, my daughter until thou know how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest until he has finished the thing this day.
Naomi guided Ruth on how to make herself available for BOAZ.
And the moment Boaz recognized she was available and willing, BOAZ swung into action and sealed the deal the same day!!
Same day!!
That's what happens when PEOPLE WHO ARE READY FOR MARRIAGE meet. They know what they want.
Who they want. They are intentional.
They go straight for the goal and it's all done.
I'm just saying, that the idea of making a man or lady wait for months or weeks before you give an answer isn't a popular ideology in scriptures.
